		<description>I have never used Twitter because much like blogging I never really saw the appeal. Initially I just thought that Twitter was for celebrities and fans, but now that you mention it, it is a very good way to convey news to people quickly. I do not watch the news on TV or read the newspaper. The way that I hear about important things going on in the world is either through my friends&#039; status updates on Facebook or Myspace, the opening page of Yahoo! News when I check my e-mail, or through a friend or family mentioning it. Twitter could be very powerful at passing along information.</description>
