If you have nothing else to do on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 6:00 PM, please join us at Rosie McCanns at Santana Row. It’s for a great cause for children who need our help. You can purchase tickets here (they are cheap); and even if you can’t make it, you can always give up a latte for the day and donate some coin. Janet Fouts and Shel Israel will be singing their respective books, Twitterville and Social Media Success. Books will be for sale at the event.

The audience was a little quiet and didn’t laugh when I tried to crack a joke. Whatever.
I also had the opportunity to chair the next day and also serve as the moderator for several panels, mostly about mobile and social gaming; two topics I am not too familiar with. It was a long day, but it was definitely fun.
For me, the true value of attending conferences is meeting people, as well as seeing old friends. As usual, it was great to catch up [...]
I am sure someone else has already thought of this but the idea came to me after I ousted @Mediaphyter from her mayorship of 24 Hour Fitness on Arques in Sunnyvale. It would have been awesome to walk through the doors prepping for my work out and see something like this staring at me on the wall:
