Gearing up for BlogWorld
Nov 2, 2007 Michael BritoBlogWorld is right around the corner, and I must say that I pretty excited to be going. Unfortunately, I couldn’t pick and choose which sessions I wanted to attend on the fly, like at SES. They require you to register for your sessions in advance. Hopefully I can sneak into some others as well. Here are the sessions I will be attending:
Nov 8
- Tracking Reputation in the Blogosphere
- Picking a Blogging Platform and How to Leverage Blogs, Podcasts, Video, Social Media, and Other Channels for Traffic Conversions and Profits
- How Online Conversations Change Markets
- New Media Revenue Opportunities with YouTube, Second Life, Podcasting and More!
- THE NEW MEDIA MOGULS ROUNDTABLE
Nov 9
- The Future of New Media Publishing Tools
- Social Media versus Pay Per Click
- Creating a Coherent Social Media Strategy
- Building Relationships with Bloggers
While I am excited about all of the sessions, I am mostly looking forward to attending is How Online Conversations Change Markets facilitated by Paul Gillin, since I am a strong advocate of conversational marketing and it’s impact on brands, consumers and the market; and frequently blog about it. I am also excited about attending Creating a Coherent Social Media Strategy facilitated by Jeremiah Owyang and Chris Brogan. I have been reading Jeremiah’s blog for about a year now; and he some really great things to say about social media.
And the icing on the cake is….well, Mark Cuban will be giving the closing keynote!
